GIveNOLA Day!

Early giving has begun for GiveNOLA Day!

What’s GiveNOLA day?

GiveNOLA Day is an online giving event on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 organized by the Greater New Orleans Foundation.

For 24 hours, everyone who loves our region can support their favorite local causes by donating to one or more of 900+ participating nonprofit organizations.

PLUS dollars raised during this 24-hour period are amplified by a proportional “Lagniappe Fund,” as well as possible awards and hourly prizes for the nonprofits.

In short, your giving goes further on GiveNOLA Day, and it’s a great opportunity to celebrate and support the work of all our NOLA nonprofits.

What’s more, by fulfilling your previous commitment to Federation or making a new gift, your dollars can go even further this year with our special GiveNOLA Day matches, including:

  • 1:1 match from an anonymous donor on new and increased portions of gifts.
  • Susan & Howard Green will match 1:1 on all new and increased gifts from Lemann-Stern/Katz-Phillips alumni.
  • “Maury Herman Power Hours”: All new and increased portions of gifts donated between 10-11 AM, 2-3 PM, and 6-8:30 PM will earn an additional 1:1 match, up to $20,000!

Early giving has now begun, so please support the Jewish Federation today!
