Formerly known as the Annual Celebration, we marked another successful year with the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans at the 2024 Fed Fest!
We honored several outstanding members of our community including:
- 2024 Community Campaign Co-Chairs – Michele Gelman & Mike Dodd
- Roger Bissinger and Allan Bissinger Memorial Award Winner – Dr. Marc Behar
- Herbert & Margot Garon Young Leadership Award Winner – Sara Lewis
- Oscar J. Tolmas L’Dor V’Dor Award Winner – Myron Goldberg
Theodore Roosevelt once said, “No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.”
While we are an impressive community made up of incredible minds, one thing is certain; this is a community that cares. It’s evident in how we prioritize accessible security for our Jewish organizations and interfaith neighbors. It’s tangible in the ways we engage with the broader New Orleans community. And it’s undeniable in the solidarity and outpouring of resources we share with our brothers and sisters in Israel.
This is how we know we are part of one of the greatest communities, and that no matter what may come our way, the future will be bright.
