California Wildfires: How to Help

Wildfires across the greater Los Angeles area have forced tens of thousands of people to evacuate, caused significant damage to homes and personal property, and taken several lives.

In addition to the broader danger to the community, many Jewish institutions are in the evacuation zones for the fires, which have already destroyed a synagogue that’s over 100 years old in Pasadena.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, along with the Jewish Federation of Ventura County and Jewish Federation of Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys, have opened a relief fund to help those affected by the fires.

You can help by contributing to their Wildfire Crisis Relief Fund, ensuring that Jewish communities and others affected receive the assistance they desperately need.
