Hans & Donna Sternberg are passionate supporters of Israel and understand that teen travel is a catalyst for active Jewish involvement at home.
Because of this passion, they established the Hans & Donna Sternberg Israel Youth Scholarship Program which offers teens a scholarship up to $3,000 to attend semester and year-long trips to Israel, summer trips excluded.
The scholarship is available to teens based in Greater New Orleans. While the scholarships are not need-based, they are limited.
Scholarship recipients are required to attend up to two pre-trip sessions and one post-trip session and to act as ambassadors for Israel trips in our community.
